A Delightful Surprise – Couldn’t Put It Down! I don’t usually reach for YA fantasy, but I am so glad I gave The Prophecy of Three a try. What a wonderful surprise! The writing pulled me in right away and before I knew it, I was reading well past my bedtime…something I haven’t done in years. The characters are strong, relatable, and full of heart. I found myself laughing, tearing up, and cheering them on like they were old friends. The story has plenty of action and magic, but also explores friendship, courage, and resilience in a way that felt universal and timeless. This book reminded me that it’s never too late to enjoy an adventure. Whether you’re a teen, a parent, or a grandparent like me, this is a story that will sweep you away. I truly couldn’t put it down!

I don’t get to read a lot, but I’d been craving something fun and easy to get lost in, and The Prophecy of Three was exactly what I needed. From the first few pages, I was pulled into a magical world that felt exciting but never confusing. The story is fast-paced, the characters feel like people you could actually know, and there’s just the right amount of mystery, humor, and romance to keep things interesting. What I loved most is how it helped me switch off from the stress of everyday life. I could curl up with it for an hour and feel like I’d gone on a mini adventure without ever leaving my couch. Even as someone who rarely finishes a book, I flew through this one. If you want a little escape that’s pure enjoyment, this is it. Highly recommend!

it was amazing The Prophecy of Three delivers an engaging blend of YA drama and slow-building fantasy that pulls the reader in from the very first dream sequence. Jessie Bee crafts a heroine who feels refreshingly real—Summer is sharp-tongued, funny, guarded, and deeply loyal. Her friendships with Kelli, Mallory, and Hayden bring an authenticity to the story that anchors the more magical, mysterious elements. The book shines whenever it explores the emotional complexities of growing up, balancing old relationships, and discovering new feelings.

Where the story really takes flight is in the eerie and vivid dream sequences that follow Summer. These visions show an alternate identity—Tiona—and a lush world that feels ancient and mythical. The back-and-forth between Summer’s normal life and her prophetic dreams creates a compelling tension, gradually revealing that something extraordinary lies beneath her everyday reality. Each dream deepens the intrigue and hints at a much larger prophecy that Summer is destined to unravel.

By the end of the early chapters, Bee successfully sets up a dual storyline: a relatable high-school narrative running alongside a rising fantasy arc filled with portals, ancient queens, and long-buried secrets. The writing style of the author is amazing. The book is well paced and it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout this book.

Summer’s voice is witty, sarcastic, and sharply observant, making her both relatable and entertaining. Her interactions—especially the push-and-pull dynamic with Hayden—feel organic and filled with chemistry. The early chapters devote a lot of time to building the world of her friendships, school life, and family, which gives the book a strong emotional foundation.

The fantasy elements are introduced slowly through Summer’s dreams. The contrast between her normal suburban life and the dream world of Tiona is captivating. These visions introduce readers to a larger universe involving portals, magical bloodlines, and ancient threats. The dreams feel intentionally mysterious, offering just enough clues to spark curiosity without revealing too much too soon.

What stands out most is the book’s ability to balance two storytelling modes without losing coherence. While some readers may crave faster pacing into the fantasy arc, others will appreciate the investment in character development before the bigger reveals arrive. This story is an enticing start to what feels like a much larger saga.

Excellent In The Prophecy of Three, Jessie Bee merges the charm of a modern coming-of-age story with the allure of ancient magic. Summer is a protagonist readers can immediately connect with—she’s surrounded by a lively circle of friends who each add depth and humor. Her banter with Hayden and the lingering tension between them will make romance lovers especially happy, creating a soft love-triangle energy with her ex, Cameron.

The mysterious dreams that haunt Summer bring a fascinating contrast to her everyday world. These moments introduce an ethereal identity—Tiona—and an unfolding prophecy tied to survival, portals, and long-lost civilizations. The lore feels fresh and imaginative, with hints of a grand scale that stretches far beyond Summer’s high-school halls. The pacing of these fantasy revelations keeps the reader hooked, encouraging them to piece together the puzzle alongside Summer.

The novel’s greatest strength is how deeply it immerses the reader in Summer’s emotional journey. Beneath the magic, the story is about identity—who we were, who we are, and who we’re destined to become. With strong character relationships, intriguing magical world-building, and tension simmering in both the plot and the romance, this is a book worth reading.
